How to Use Laser Printing Consumables Correctly

I. The Effect of Carbon Powder Sealed Carbon Box and Printer
1. Carbon powder with poor quality will cause caking if it is shelved for a long time in the humid and temperature changing environment. It will damage the parts of the cartridge in the use process, thus affecting the imaging quality and shortening the service life of the cartridge.
2. The printer heates the carbon powder through the fixing roll, which makes it easy to melt the carbon powder and press it into the paper. Different printers, the heating temperature of the fixing roll will deviate from that of the carbon powder with a wide melting point range. The matching performance of the fixing roll with different printers is good, and good printing quality can be achieved on different printers.
3. The printing quality of carbon powder with narrow melting point range is unstable: when the melting point of carbon powder is higher than the heating temperature of fixing roll, the melting point of carbon powder is not enough to infiltrate into the paper fibers, resulting in the image fixing is not firm; and when the melting point of carbon powder is lower than the heating temperature of fixing roll, the carbon powder is over-softened and will stick to the fixing roll, polluting the fixing roll and dirtying the printing paper.
2. Notices for the use of printer toner:
1. Use environment: temperature 10-35? Relative humidity 20-80%
2. Printing media: Do not use deformed, damaged, wrinkled, wet, ultra-thick printing media; shake the carbon powder evenly before use, and put it for a moment to reuse.
3. Small Knowledge on the Use of Environmental Selenium Drum
1. Installation and use environment: temperature 10-33? Relative temperature 20-80%.
2. Choose the appropriate printing media: Do not use paper with irregular fit, tear, wrinkle, edge roll, hole and staple; too thick and hard paper (especially business card paper) will quickly grind the drum and use as little as possible; when printing film, some film coatings will dissolve and bond on the fixing roll, causing permanent damage, so special attention should be paid to the selection of film.
3. When replacing selenium drum, it is better to use vacuum cleaner to clean the place where the powder box is placed in the machine, use soft cloth to clean the paper scraps and carbon powder accumulated on the paper path, and use cotton swab to dip the exposed electrical contacts in alcohol to wipe them, so as to maintain good electrical contact.
4. To check whether the photosensitive drum rotates flexibly, it is only necessary to push the photosensitive drum gear one week in the direction of the drum protective cover (74A is opposite to 3903A). If the user inverts the photosensitive drum, the carbon powder will be accumulated between the large magnetic roller and the powder discharge knife, resulting in powder leakage.
5. Before using the selenium drum, the cartridge should be swing 6-8 times to make the carbon powder evenly distributed. Then the seal is pulled out and the cartridge is put into the printer.
6. Generally speaking, if the machine displays the TONER LOW logo, the prints will be discolored. At this time, we can shake the cartridge and print 40-50 pieces.
